Peaster Education Foundation Scholarships

Peaster Education Foundation is proud to offer a minimum $2,500 scholarship opportunity to four graduating seniors of Peaster High School.  The scholarship is to be used by students attending an accredited college or trade school during the 2026/2027 school year.

Requirements

1. Must submit an essay with a maximum of 750 words. Essays will be scored on the students passions, accomplishments, goals and community impact. 
2. Essays are scored by a committee of Peaster Education Foundation board members and at least 1 committee member who does not live in the Peaster area.  Students’ names are removed from the essay before given to the committee to further assist in a scoring simply on the merit of the written essay. Committee members will not know the names of students who have submitted an essay until scores have been given.  The scores by the judges will be averaged to achieve a final score.
3. If a recipient is awarded a scholarship and is not going to utilize the scholarship, the committee asks that you notify the Peaster Education Foundation by August 31, 2026 so that the funds can be awarded to the next highest scoring essay.
4. Scholarship funds must be used for education purposes in the 2026/2027 school year.  Funds not utilized by August 31, 2027 will revert back to the Peaster Education Foundation.
